Catalina Gardescu is the Manager of Admissions & External Relations at the American International School of Bucharest where she has worked in various positions. She is Romanian and lives in Bucharest with her son and partner.A graduate of the University of Bucharest with a Bachelor degree in Communications & PR, Catalina currently heads the Admissions and Communications department at the AISB and takes a leading role in admissions, parent relations, school marketing and communications, events, fundraising and service learning coordination.  Her best professional achievement is organizing the AISB admissions office over a period of expansion from a bit over 300 students to nearly 900.Catalina has been involved in expanding the professional development network in the area of admissions.Catalina loves reading and has recently started a personal blog to nourish her other passion – writing. She loves traveling and is excited to discover new places whether her travels are of a personal or professional nature.  Personally, her best personal achievement is staying open to change.
